Won’t be back for 10-14 days. Waah Waah Waah.
Apparently, the ladies in the lab were confused when they told me it took 2-3 days to get the results for a Harmony DNA test. It takes 10-14 days from last Monday. I knew I should have asked my doctor’s office but didn’t think about it till I made it to the lab. Oh well! More time to pray.
We did get some good news. In 6 days, my HCG levels came down around 25,000 points! October 30, they were 116,500 and November 4, they were 92,300. That is huge! Usually, HCG does not come down with a molar pregnancy. They normally go up. I have a feeling they are coming down even more because I actually felt normal yesterday. We are praising God for another small victory in this progressive miracle!
I helped Luke get ready for his last soccer game last night and enjoyed it. Usually, it takes every bit of energy in me just to ask him to gather his things and bring them to me so I can lay on the couch and help him pull his shin guards over his little legs, tie his cleats in double knots, put on his uniform and brush his hair. Yesterday, I helped him find everything since our home is in such disarray. I remember telling him, “Buddy, I’m so thankful I can help you today.” He said, “Me too, I wasn’t sure how I was going to find everything all by myself since my uniform was in the dryer, I needed warm layers, and socks always go missing around here.” I kissed his sweet little forehead so grateful for a moment to fully enjoy him and my heart tinged in pain wondering how much this is affecting my sweet children.
Our current prayer requests are pretty much the same: continued protection for the baby and normal growth, DNA results to be 46, and peace for our minds. Peace as we wait longer for this DNA test. Peace as medical bills begin rolling in knowing God controls it all! Peace as we are anxious to sell our house in SC. We listed it this week. It’d just be one less major thing to worry about. So please pray for peace for our minds as God brings us the right buyer. Also, pray for my husband. This man is the strongest man I know. But he just needs strength to work his full time job, our business, and help me, the kids, and the house since I’m pretty much at a quarter to half capacity now. So blessed God gave me him to walk through this with….couldn’t imagine doing it with anyone else. Love to you all!
