I haven’t posted in a week so here are some pictures around the Denny house:

Luke and his friend, Presleigh, on Memorial Day.  Our friends invited us over for a cookout.  We had a great time!  We are so very thankful for the friends that God has brought and is bringing into our lives.

Luke got a haircut.  He did amazing like always-sat so still and listened so well!  Probably, was convincing us to cut his mop more often. 🙂

Waded in the Creek near by.

Elle kept putting her face directly in the water.

She was crawling all through it!

Took the kids to the pool yesterday.  There is a pool about 1/4 mile down the road from us.  We are thinking about joining so our neighbors have invited us as their guests.  Both the kids LOVED it!  Elle sat in her float the whole time, and Luke was jumping off the edge an hour after we got there.

Luke’s toy choice for blanket time everyday has been the Bible.  I’m so glad he loves God’s word but what 3-year-old chooses the Bible as their toy of choice?  Friday, he chose a puzzle and I was so relieved, “Ok, he is normal.” 🙂  The crazy thing is he has all the books of the Bible memorized now because of this.  We are pretty sure he has a photographic memory coupled with something else. We are no expert so we are still searching.  Having a “gifted child” is a lot of work!!

Mike got free tickets to the Braves Tuesday night so he took Luke.  He’ll be blogging about it soon.  They had so much fun!

Luke came home from the game and had every player and their numbers memorized including the Padres.  After he was done telling me, I asked, “Luke, why do you like to memorize names and numbers?” He says, “I don’t know.  I just do.”

Luke got his own swing….

Now they can both swing together.  Sigh of relief for Momma!  No more tears, no more holding Elle to push Luke, or putting Elle down to push Luke only to have Elle have a mouthful of pinestraw, rocks, gumballs, and red clay.  Thank you to all the customers who have ordered from us recently to make this purchase possible. 🙂

Elle loves pack-n-play time!

Just because this picture is too handsome not to include.  Luke on his way home from one of our walks to do some couponing at Kroger, Publix, and Walgreens.

I’m one blessed woman!
